This past Sunday night was our first church family fellowship. Our orchestra put on a beautiful concert on the square in our new city. The weather was perfect! The area that we were in is a fairly new establishment which was built to look like an old-timey downtown square with darling little shops, street lights, benches, a gazebo, wonderful green smushy grass and amazingly beautiful architechture. I can only imagine how cute and fun it will be all decorated at Christmas!!
We had our huge patchwork quilt, home-made chicken salad, chips, fruit and of course, cupcakes. And living in Texas??? We always must spray on the OFF mosquito repellant less we get eaten alive by the little suckers. (no pun intended...well maybe a little). Our friends who actually were the ones who got us hooked up with this church also have a daughter from China and the girls were adorable together! PandaGirl and her new little friend ran up to the front of the picnic area and were doing princess/ballerina dances to the lovely musical arrangements. My heart was so FULL! I just love my girly-girl and her love of being elegant and fancy. This was a wonderful night of fellowship and enjoying the fact that God has blessed us with a precious church family whom we can't wait to get to know even better in the years to come.

That looks like great time!
How Fun! So glad you had an awesome eve. It's about time! It's amazing where you've been makes you appreciate the beauty of what you have now. So glad you're happy. What fun scrapbook pages!
Isn't God so good to have blessed us with these girls who have been woven so tightly into our families. My Toot is definitly NOT a girlie-girl but a total goof! No one could have fit in more perfect.
I love events like that. It makes you feel like you went back in time.
Once again, I am so happy that you all seem to be loving your new home.
The park looks lovely and the girls are adorable dancing around like princess/ballerinas!
What a wonderful time. Good for you!
Looks like you had a great weekend and it seems like you are settling in really well, I am so happy for you.
It looks like yall had so much fun. The pictures make me think of The Music Man. Have you seen that one? The "old" town square look. Love it!
