Not yet.
Nope. Still not on at home. PP's office is where I am for this little blurb. You know I don't like to blog without pics so you'll just have to wait until we are all hooked up again. I mean I have so much to tell...I mean show you! Just a little example...like when we had tickets to the Dallas Cowboys game a week ago and didn't get to use them, or how the weather has totally kicked into FALL, or how PandaGirl tried to check Miao's teeth with a glove on and he didn't like it, or how awesome Netflix is, or how the entire new jar of spaghetti sauce fell out of the grocery bag and SHATTERED on the kitchen floor, or when....you'll see later, I guess. Have a great weekend! (I probably won't be back on until then).

Howdy Y'all! PG's 5th B-day!
PandaGirl has loved HORSES since she was little bitty and since we've already had a Winnie the Pooh party, a Miss Patty-Cake party and the Princess party it only seemed right to have a HORSE party! This was so fun to decorate for especially being from Texas. If you aren't a Texan then you probably have no idea how we think. We are a bit fanatical about our Lone Star State. We proudly wave our red, white and blue flag with it's beautiful white star. Hence, the reason for those colors for the party. It's a given. I have no idea what ANY other state's flag even looks like, but here in TEXAS it's just a part of everyday life as is the whole western look. No, we don't all dress like cowboys but there is a claim to all things "cowboy".
PandaGirl had a blast at her party. We had a FREE bounce house which was a huge hit. Then we had lunch, cake, presents, a bit more jumping in the bounce house and WHAM!...it was over. It seemed like all the kids had fun and the grown-ups got a kick out of all the kids having fun. We even got to see TWO of our wonderful old playgroup families! HUGE blessing to us! Thanks guys!!
I have such a blast decorating for a party!!! These red ropers were mine when I was sixteen and totally into George Strait! LOL!
PandaFamily enjoying the day!
I am in love with this ever-so-cute blue speckled bean pot full of Ranch Style Beans (made right here in Texas!). These went along with BBQ brisket sandwiches, little smokies, cheese noodles (PG's favorite!), chips, pickles, onions, sweet tea, lemonade, followed by chocolate horseshoe cake (that I made this morning!) and vanilla ice cream. YUM! Very cowgirl-ish. ; )
The present opening happened so fast and furious with all of PG's friends "helping" her that I missed any great shots of this moment. Pooh.
PandaPop and I had fun buying this awesome horse and carriage for PG's new Barbie dolls and best of all her new MULAN doll PP got off of ebay!!! She is so in love with Mulan now so this was the BEST!
The kiddos went home with a small horse figurine, a red bandanna and this cute little bag full of yummy Trail Mix...good for any cowboy on the trail!
How sad for you if you don't live in or near Texas and have no idea what Blue Bell Ice Cream is. It is made in south Texas and is the best. The kids had cute little individual ones while the grown ups dug into the half gallon for the floats in the next pics.
I'm aware that normally I should have Dr. Pepper to go along with brisket and all the trimmings, but we opted to have A&W Root Beer to make Floats!
Sippin' on a little bit of root-beer float!!!
Grandma and PawPaw came to visit.
So much fun and excitement made this little cowgirl pooped!
Yep...It's Official...I've Losted My Mind.

This is my bloggy friend over at Never Too Many. I've never met Steffie B. All I know of her is what she displays on her blog and what she comments to me. That's it. However, last night I had a dream that she wrote me a check for $11, 555.00 for our adoption. She mailed it and everything. Very clever, that girl, seeing as how she doesn't have my address nor does she even know my real name. LOLOLOL! I woke up laughing my head off! Even though I have had a hard time finding the time to blog or even visit other bloggers I guess deep down I really do live in bloggy land.
Steffie, if you could mail the REAL check today I'd be ever so grateful, honey. ; )
Sidenote: I am toooooo excited for words! We have been having problems with Safari (the Mac version of Explorer) so we loaded Firefox. All of a sudden I now have the capability of bold, italics and a host of other options which I didn't have before! Woohoo!
Well, I'm off to bake a horseshoe cake for PandaGirl's Birthday Party today!

Wasn't Meant To Be...Yet

Sorry that it's been so long since a post, but we have been on "vacation" this week. We were supposed to be at Disney World, but it just did not work out for us. We have decided to do Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover instead. We decided to wait on the trip until we can pay cash for it and take both PandaGirl and her little sister-to-come meaning that we will have to wait a few years on ol' M-I-C-K-E-Y. We have PG's birthday party this weekend so I will have great pics of that! Have a great day!

Happy Birthday PandaGirl!

My sweet baby turns 5 today. My how time FLIES!!! We are super busy this weekend with a children's retreat and something fun I'm doing tonight that I can't wait to share later, so we are celebrating PG's birthday party NEXT Saturday and it's all about HORSES!!! It's gonna be soooo cute! (I LOVE how she is "into" carrying purses now. This one she is holding over her shoulder has THREE lipglosses in it!)
Here's PG's choice for her teacup this year. It is gorgeous black! Very unusual color for a teacup but, oh so fitting for this year since PG is into "Mulan". The cup looks very Asian and is great addition to her collection!

Tea Time '07
PandaGirl's 5th birthday is on this Saturday. When she was three I started a tradition of taking her to a tea room for her birthday and picking out a tea cup for a collection. You can read about it all HERE. Today's tearoom didn't have any tea cups for sale so we are looking for one on Saturday.
This year our special guest was Daddy. He had jokingly (with some serious tones, too!) said he was sad that it was a "girly" event and that he'd never get to go. Since PG and I are ones to want to make PandaPop smile we decided that this year's special guest just HAD to be him! If you look closely you can see him decked out in a hat that was supposed to be for PG! ; )
Something's gotta give with this mop on my head! Scissors, please.
I love that PandaPop is the BEST Daddy in the whole wide world!
This girl LOVES to "fix" her tea and drinks it with the best of 'em! Today's was orange spice black tea with a splash of cream.
It was PG's idea to bring "Baby" all dressed in her Chinese outfit to match "Mommy" (her) and she brought along a tea cup and saucer for Baby, too!!!
PG's darling display of food served on a special "Birthday Princess" plate along with the "pearls" and a small glass slipper for keeps.
PandaPop and I had the Sampler which was AMAZING and tons of it! We were going to order cake for dessert, but opted out because our plates had SO much yummy food to enjoy! He drank Earl Grey hot tea and I had iced Mango Peach. (Can you tell I LOVE~LOVE~LOVE tea rooms!???)
PG's cutest dessert ever served with a golden spoon, of course.
Ahhh. My two loves. What a blessing of a memory. Scrapbook, here I come!
