Christmas Eve

We continued our new Christmas tradition this year for the second time...cooking our own Chinese food and having banana pudding. Well, we were going to be gone and the pudding would go bad so we opted for peppermint ice cream and a warm brownie instead...perfect! We are dining on our knew table which was our big present for ourselves this year. We had a very nice hand-me-down for ten years. This was our first time to purchase one and we love it! It is pub-height with tall chairs. This last pic of PandaGirl is true Chinese form. Drinking your food from your bowl is just a way of life in China. She wanted all the drippings of that ice cream!

The look on PandaGirls face was priceless! She had very stern looking eyebrows and was concentrating very hard on her work at hand. Then after opening the gift she would soften and say a sweet spoken "thank you" and hug the present. CUTE!

Of course, with this being Miao's first Christmas with us he got his own present, too.....only, this isn't it. I guess he wanted to check out what might be hiding in here for him. Silly cat. Now we are off to the Christmas Eve service at church...

I love your table setting for the Chinese New Year's Eve dinner. Looks like Panda Girl had a great Christmas.

I'm trying to load our Christmas pics, but they're not loading.
