Back in February I posted some concerns over Oprah and her "new" leadership role she is taking on and all about her leading people away from the TRUTH of Jesus Christ. You can see what I posted here.
Then watch this little snippet of why I pray for her and all the dumb sheep being led off the side of the cliff. By the grace of God I hear His Truth. My job is to speak and live Truth straight from God's Word...be an example of a sinner saved by the Grace of God and seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit with every breath I take, not a condemning person. I am to be salt and light in this dark world.
Father, please show yourself to Oprah and all the people blindly following her lies. We are all sheep. You are the Shepherd. We need You and are nothing without You and your Son, Jesus Christ. God have mercy on us. Kyrie eleison.

Scary to think so many people follow her and listen to her. I pray that God lay it on her herat that what she is doing is not the right way and she will turn back to Him.

Hmm, interesting. So,...if it doesn't feel right it isn't? That's a scary way for people to judge their beliefs and actions. I don't think to pray for people like this because celebrities don't really seem like people - good reminder.
I think it is a sign of the end times, along with the many that have come before. But it is really paving a way for the anti-christ to hvae that one world religion. We have to stand firm in our faith and pray harder than we ever have before, like Paul, without ceasing! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for being the Bold Woman of God that you are!!!! I have been praying for her for some time now. I guess we shouldn't be so surprised at how willing people are to follow something new and "better". No need to acknowledge and confess our sins because there are no sins. (hmmm do they address why there are jails) All you have to do is breathe in and out. Easy peasy cottage cheesy. I do that already...I must be god!! But serioulsy we as a Christian community MUST be praying against this movement and for the hearts of all the people being deluded.

Wow, she's not very familiar with SCRIPTURE from God's Holy Bible is she? I don't watch any of this stuff. I cringe when I see the commercials. The only thing I watch Oprah for is Dr. Oz. However, she always throws in a snippet at the end about this book. That's when I cange the channel.
"Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord."

I don't know, I think what Oprah was saying made a lot of sense. I'm Jewish and therefore do not believe that Jesus is the only way. I don't think this makes me any less close to God. I really don't understand why some Christians are so intolerant of other religions. I have absolutely nothing against Christianity--I think it is a beautiful religion, except when it is used to condemn others. My family is highly observant--we are no less close to God than those who are close to him through Jesus.
I'm really trying to be respectful in this comment and truly do not wish to offend anyone. But hearing that Jesus is the only way, and other lines from that school of thought, is offensive to me and to my religion.

Hi sweet friend! I am so so sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you regarding your email.....I need you to email me again...we got a new computer and all my emails are on the other one.....that way I can reply to you about your questions...IT has been a crazy 2-3 weeks here....from Dr appts and pre-op stuff for me.... to switching these computers....(still not done with that)...to Chelsi having testing 3 days...to Dr appts for my mom and dad...then Chelsi got an ear infection..... then we were out of town last weekend.on a clogging trip....whew...no time to even sleep! hee-hee!
But I have not forgotten you or your email...and I'd love to reply but I want to give you my entire story..so I'll be watching for your email!

The image of people jumping off the cliff really struck me. I respect everyone’s right to practice the religion of their choice. But, I know that Jesus is my Lord God and Savior. He is the only way for me. I had heard about Oprah saying that she took issue when she heard a preacher say that our God is a jealous God. She missed the point. He is not jealous of us! He is jealous of the so called god’s that others call on; that they are taking people off the cliff to nowhere. They are not going to find salvation or peace or happiness or whatever else they’re looking for from books being churned out one after another. There is one book that has all the answers that I need! Let’s pray for those searching when the answer is so obvious…Our Heavenly Father!
Thank you for this post. I heard Oprah say that she was a christian on her show just the other day. She really doesn't know the Word of God though, or she wouldn't be teaching what she is. The Bible clearly states that there is only one way to God, through His son Jesus Christ. It has nothing to do with condemning others, or not being tolerant of others, but what christians are speaking out about is that she is stating that she is a christian, then preaching false doctrine that seems so wonderful. This is exactly what the Bible warns against. I will continue to pray for her.
Oh yeah, I saw that video before...and I've been leary of her for a LONG time. Stopped watching her awhile back. Too bad, really.
Wow thanks for showing that!My Mom bought that book and told me to read it.I told her I have to learn more about this book before I can read it.I can't beleive Oprah is saying these things about God,that is scary,because she has a large following.
I use to like Oprah until this.....it's really quite sad. I don't have much time to watch TV anyway.....
I so agree with you Jana! It's not hard for me to get on my soapbox when it comes to the "evil" that is Oprah.
It scares me to see so many easily follow false doctrine- Can you say Jim Jones, David Koresh, the current incident going on in West Texas and this is to just name a few. This is basically just another cult. The Bible warns each of us about wolves in sheep's clothing. Perhaps if more people looked to God (using His Word) for their lives problems and less to others perhaps so many people wouldn't be led so easily astray. Thanks for sharing.
